When it comes to food, you get what you pay for.

Since our products are all made by hand, in small batches, with organic, raw ingredients and superfoods, within Toronto, these don’t come cheap.

Also, because we dehydrate to maintain nutrition, this process takes between 24-36hrs per batch.

We are peeling and chopping all ingredients by hand, like you would at home, which is very labour intensive (and thus expensive).

We could also explain how certain agricultural products receive high subsidies to make them cheap (i.e. corn, beef, soy, etc) but, we won’t get all political here. We trust you can do your own research 😉

A better question, is why are other foods so cheap?!

The product density changes by flavour and can fluctuate per batch, as everything is hand made with no machines.

Also to note, instead of focusing on quantity, we look at quality and nutrient density you receive per bag. In a comparison to “normal/processed snacks” our products are so nutrient dense, that per bite, you are getting macro and micro nutrients to feed your body, while also stabilizing blood sugar and satisfying hunger. No $2 snack chips will do that.

We typically ship orders out within 2 business days of receiving an order.

Within the GTA, transit time is usually 1 day from date of shipment.

Within Ont/Quebec, transit time is usually 2-3 days

To the western provinces, or Atlantic provinces, it can be around 3-5 days for transit time.

We ship all across Canada (incl. the territories and PO boxes), as well as all across the USA.

For shipments to the USA, these can take from 5-10 business days transit time but, keep in mind we are crossing a border and customs can at times hold up orders, at US customs discretion. This is completely out of our control.

Note, keep track of duties and import taxes for international orders. These are not within our control, or our responsibility for US-bound orders.

We can not accept back food items and re-sell them for safety reasons.

Firstly, as a holistic nutritionist founded company, we must say you should never reduce a product (or any food for that matter) to only it’s numbers in the Nutrition Facts Table. Always look at quality (aka the ingredients), over quantity (aka the nutrition facts).

There are no sweeteners added to either the fruit, or the cacao/chocolate coating. All the sugars reflected in the label, are from the dehydrated fruit only.

Did you know that one apple has about 22g of sugar and only 3g fiber?! Now we are not saying apples are bad, but, we are trying to make a point…

These come packed with of fiber and micronutrients, which slows the absorption of sugar into the blood stream. This means you will not get a massive sugar spike, or energy crash AND you will have the benefit of feeling more satiated longer between meals (bonus!).

Fun Fact: did you know that nutrition facts are often not accurate anyway, where the ingredient declarations have to be. So, what would you rather base your food choices off of, ingredients, or possibly incorrect numbers?

Due to extremely warm temperatures in certain destinations, as well as certain times of year, we prefer to not have our chocolate items melt uncontrollably during the shipping process. Since we use no stabilizers in our chocolate coating and we prefer to be conscientious about our environmental impact, we prefer to reduce the use of packaging materials used in shipping such as dry ice, freezer packs, etc., which are traditionally used to keep items cold during shipping.
